As part of Record Store Day, there is a special limited edition vinyl-only release of a Makaya McCraven remix of Nubya Garcia's 2020 album Source.
The graphic forms represent the musical vibrations of Garcia’s music and they connect to ideas of energy as being the source of Jazz music’s experimentation and reinvention.
The title typeface is a visual interpretation of the interrelation of Garcia’s saxophone playing and its flow within the rhythmic pulse of the album.
